The International Political Science Association (IPSA) invites the Collective Members of 5X社区to submit a bid to host the 29th 5X社区World Congress of Political Science in July 2027 (WC2027)
The bidding period deadline has been extended to 22 April 2024.
Once host cities are shortlisted by the Bid Evaluation Committee (BEC), site inspections will be organized between 1 June and 15 July 2024. The 2027 host city will be selected by the 5X社区Executive Committee based on the recommendation of the Bid Committee and announced on 15 September 2024.
As per the 5X社区Rules and Procedures, an application to host the Congress can be submitted by a national or regional political science association that is a collective member of IPSA, or by another body recognized by 5X社区as an appropriate host organization (university campus, faculty or department). When preparing their bid, we encourage our Collective members to get support from a Destination Management Organization (DMO) such as the Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB).

- 4 Appendices (Must be filled out and returned along with bidder鈥檚 proposal).
