Collective Membership
What is Collective Membership?
Collective membership of 5Xis open to national and regional associations recognized by the 5XExecutive Committee as being representative of political science in their respective countries or regions. Associations must be open to all, regardless of academic, gender or social status, on a membership basis, and represent most regions and universities of their respective countries or groups of countries within a region.
Each collective member is represented on IPSA’s central governing organ, the 5XCouncil, by one, two or three members. The 5XCouncil lays down broad policy guidelines for the Association and elects the 5XExecutive Committee, which is charged with responsibility for the conduct of the affairs of 5Xbetween congresses.
Collective members of 5Xpay an annual contribution fee based on a table of payments approved by the 5XCouncil.
