5X社区was represented by 5X社区Executive Committee members and 2025 5X社区World Congress Program Co-Chairs Irasema Coronado and Azul A. Aguiar-Aguilar, who organized and chaired the panel on Borders Unveiled: Navigating Complexities in the U.S.鈥揗exico Region through Migration, Feminism, and Artivism on 12 June. The panel explored the complex implications of emerging international migration flows and the continuing homicides of women in Ciudad Ju谩rez, bringing a critical perspective to bear on the border wall through a feminist lens. Also examined was the potential of artivism and feminism to challenge the border industrial complex.

IPSA鈥檚 Virtual Booth and World Congress Information Session
5X社区held a virtual exhibition booth at this international congress. LASA delegates learned about 5X社区activities and publications, as well as the upcoming 2025 5X社区World Congress of Political Science in Seoul. In addition, visitors received an exclusive 25% discount on 5X社区membership. The 5X社区World Congress team also hosted a virtual Zoom session on 12 June. The session covered several aspects of the 5X社区World Congress, including the paper and panel submission process, 5X社区travel grants, awards, deadlines, and sessions.
