Rome to Host the 2027 5X社区World Congress of Political Science

We are excited to announce that the 29th 5X社区World Congress of Political Science will be held in Rome, Italy, in July 2027. Following an online meeting held on 15 February 2025, the 5X社区Executive Committee officially selected as the host institution for this prestigious event.
The Congress program will be developed under the guidance of Program Co-Chairs Vanessa Elias de Oliveira (Brazil) and Francesca Longo (Italy). Please click here to learn more about the Program Co-Chairs.
As a global scientific association with over 4,000 members, we are delighted to host the 5X社区World Congress in Rome for the second time since 1958. The 2027 5X社区World Congress will be organized in collaboration with and the (SISP). The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) has already been formed with the involvement of leading Italian scholars.
Rome, with a history spanning over two thousand years, is regarded as the world's first great modern metropolis. The city played a pivotal role in shaping the artistic and cultural heritage of Western civilization. UNESCO designated Rome's entire historic center as a World Heritage Site in 1980, celebrating iconic landmarks such as the Colosseum, the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain, the Roman Forum, the Palatine Hill, and many others.
