The Immigration Research Initiative (IRI) and Concordia University’s Department of Political Science are proud to announce the IRI-Concordia Fellowship on Immigration Research, a doctoral scholarship worth $56,000 for a thesis on immigration and ethnocultural diversity ($14,000 per year for four years).

- Indicate in your letter of intent that you wish to be considered for the IRI Immigration Research.

Profiles of interest: IRI’s research activities are centred around two main areas: (1) the feelings of national identification among immigrants and ethnocultural minorities, and (2) the place of immigration and ethnocultural diversity in the construction of national identity within the host society. Priority will be given to projects focusing on Quebec and/or any other multinational states, but proposed projects may also focus on other case studies, including, but not limited to, countries, nations, or regions characterized by significant immigration.
* The selected candidate must work under the supervision of Antoine Bilodeau or Mireille Paquet.
** The selected candidate remains eligible for additional support offered by the Department of Political Science and/or Concordia University.
