Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Conducting research within the DFG-funded project “How Mainstream Parties Deal with Conflict: Rules, Practices, Media Exposure” led by Prof. Dr. Nicole Bolleyer and PD Dr. Martin Gross, especially the preparation and implementation of a media analysis of party conflict regulation in four European countries as well as contribution to consecutive quantitative analyses.
- Participating in dissemination and publication of project results.
- Contributing to administrative tasks in the context of the project.
Your qualifications:
- An excellent dissertation in the area of party research and/or electoral politics broadly defined (completed or close to completion);
- Advanced skills in quantitative data analysis;
- Experience in the design and implementation of cross-country (qualitative or quantitative) content analyses;
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently and in teams;
- Fluency in English and (at least) high proficiency in Spanish;
- Prior experience of working in cross-national, comparative projects is desirable.
