5XÉçÇøwill be present at the , which will be held in ²Ñ´Ç²Ô³Ù°ùé²¹±ô, Canada, on 7-19 December 2022.

On December 14, between 1 pm and 6 pm, we invite delegates to visit the booth (#503) to meet with 5XÉçÇøExecutive Director Kim Fontaine-Skronski who will be onsite to promote projects conducted by its Research Committees (RCs) on environmental and biodiversity issues. 

: Co-led by RC52 Chair Steven Ratuva, this pioneering study aims to provide a comprehensive, interdisciplinary, multi-methodological and integrated assessment of the climate crisis and oceans covering 16 countries in the Pacific region. 

: Conducted by 5XÉçÇøExecutive Committee Member Irasema Coronado, this research project outlines a set of proposals intended to strengthen the ability of the United States International Boundary and Water Commission (USIBWC) to respond to the challenges of U.S.-Mexico border water management in the 21st century.

The United Nations Biodiversity Conference is an international meeting bringing together governments worldwide. It focuses on protecting nature and halting biodiversity loss around the world. Participants will set out new goals and develop an action plan for nature over the next decade.
